Graphically speaking, the game is nothing to write home about, but it more than makes up for it with the ludicrous amount of customization players have, with the ship designer being a particular highlight. If you thought the scale of Total War battles were impressive and the number of ships zipping about in Stellaris breathtaking, then Star Ruler has this in spades on a grand scale.
